Came home, realised a bird had decided to make a home by my bathroom window and got to thinking about the wisdom a bird must have to navigate while nesting…

Certainly, he (I googled this to be sure who does the building) must’ve flown to and fro in his quest to find sticks or twigs to construct the nest. That there’s even extra material left — just in case it’s needed — is highly commendable.
Certainly, he must have a photographic memory of some sort to remember the outer aesthetics of the particular house and particular window to keep coming back to.
Certainly, he must’ve mapped out a route to be able to lead his her to this beautiful home where she’s laid her beautiful egg.
By the sound of the chirping I’m hearing in the background, I’m sure they’re both using their bird’s eye view, watching from somewhere in the sky to be sure of the egg’s safety… I hope I get to witness it hatch.
As I ponder this and remember that mankind is far more valuable to You than birds are; I’m trusting Lord, that if You can give birds the wisdom to nest and navigate, then surely, You are more than able to give me and anyone reading this — looking for direction — the wisdom to nest and navigate, to help us realise and be obedient to our momentary purposes with every passing second, and to enable us fulfil Your calling on our lives… especially in these perilous times where the wickedness of mankind is at such a peak.
Help us find our way back to You. Teach us to nest and navigate in You; Help us trust that because You’re our provider, You will sustain us; know that because You are omniscient, nothing catches You by surprise; and rest assured that because You watch over us, we will always have security and safety in Your abode all the days of our lives.
It’s in Jesus’s name I ask.

“How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of Heaven’s Armies. I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the Lord. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God. Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young at a place near your altar, O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God! What joy for those who can live in your house, always singing your praises. Interlude” —Psalms 84:1-4 NLT
“Consider the ravens, for they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the crop]; they have no storehouse or barn, and yet God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than the birds!” — Luke 12:24 AMP
““Is it by your understanding that the hawk soars, Stretching his wings toward the south [as winter approaches]? Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up And makes his nest on high [in an inaccessible place]?” — Job 39:26-27 AMP
“But robbers are left in peace, and those who provoke God live in safety— though God keeps them in his power. “Just ask the animals, and they will teach you. Ask the birds of the sky, and they will tell you. Speak to the earth, and it will instruct you. Let the fish in the sea speak to you. For they all know that my disaster has come from the hand of the Lord. For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being.” — Job 12:6-10 NLT
