Wake Up Already!

I’m aware that the topic of Beyonce’s recent project has long moved on from the controversial debates around it. However I just can’t help but point you to the juxtaposition between the first 90seconds of “Already” with Shatta Wale and Major Lazer — the only video I’ve been able to fully watch and receive revelation on — and the Bible’s story of “The Fall of Man”.

The Fall of Man – Genesis 3:1-7 AMP

“Now the serpent was more crafty (subtle, skilled in deceit) than any living creature of the field which the LORD God had made. And the serpent (Satan) said to the woman, “Can it really be that God has said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”

And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees of the garden, except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God said, ‘You shall not eat from it nor touch it, otherwise you will die.’ ”

But the serpent said to the woman, “You certainly will not die! For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened [that is, you will have greater awareness], and you will be like God, knowing [the difference between] good and evil.”

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise and insightful, she took some of its fruit and ate it; and she also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate.

Then the eyes of the two of them were opened [that is, their awareness increased], and they knew that they were naked; and they fastened fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.”

Unlike the other posts I’m inspired to write which take me one seating, however long — 3, sometimes 5hours —, I’ve been writing this for a week and some change and it’s honestly been brewing for almost a month. I’ve been writing in bits and and pausing. And every time I revisit to continue, I get more revelation than I previously had. It almost seems as though I mightn’t finish it, because there is just so much to share. Hence my trimming it down to the first 90seconds.

That’s the thing with analyzing beyond logically and critically but also spiritually. It isn’t just speaking practically about a subject matter with facts and evidences to back it up that serve just the human thinking.

You may say “this is taking it too far”, “that this is another theory” from a “Jesus junkie”, of what you consider to be one of arts and entertainment’s most powerful expressions and homages paid to the African continent and culture. But I urge you to say a prayer before you read further. And I ask that The Holy Spirit opens your eye’s understanding beyond your natural bias and that He speaks to you to let this ruminate in your heart long enough for you understand that this isn’t just art and entertainment.

For the purpose of shedding light, I’m being led to break this down to the most minuscule level with all the physical, hypothetical and Biblical facts that by God’s grace, will give spiritual insight. I also hope to make the comparisons and draw out the eerie similarities as clearly as The Holy Spirit enables me.

This is a transcript of the dialogue we hear in the first 30seconds of the video.

Dialogue

V1: Who are you?

V2: I know exactly who I am. The question is who are you?

V1: I’m nobody so leave me alone.

V2: Everybody is somebody, even a nobody.

V1: Yeah! I think you’re confused.

V2: I am confused? You don’t even know who you are.

V1: Oh. And I suppose you do.

V2: Follow me. I will show you!

From the beginning of the video, let’s say the forest, trees and scenery represent the section in the garden of Eden where God placed Adam and Eve who went about the business of dominion and rule over all that He created and said was good.

It opens up with teal painted men and women adorned with beads and cowries, sitting in trees with their eyes covered either by themselves or by others. This part is interesting to note because I’m immediately catapulted to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that God placed in the middle of Eden’s garden. He had instructed Adam and Eve to eat the fruit of every tree in the garden except this tree. Being that they hadn’t done so till they caved into the enemy’s temptation, their eyes were shut to their nakedness they felt no shame and they lacked knowledge when it came to good and evil.

“The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.””

“Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame.”

Genesis 2:15-17, 25 NLT

Whilst the eyes of the men and women are covered, we hear the above transcript of a dialogue between 2 people. In this dialogue, I hear what took place between the shrewd serpent and mankind that led to the fall of man. Let’s say V1 is mankind and V2 is the serpent.

As the serpent approached, I believe mankind might’ve asked: V1: Who are you? seeing as it was different from other animals. It was crafty and seemed to have a type of knowledge I call counterfeit knowledge.

“Now the serpent was more crafty (subtle, skilled in deceit) than any living creature of the field which the LORD God had made. And the serpent (Satan) said to the woman, “Can it really be that God has said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” — V2: I know exactly who I am. The question is who are you?

And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees of the garden, except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God said, ‘You shall not eat from it nor touch it, otherwise you will die.’” — V1: I’m nobody so leave me alone.

But the serpent said to the woman, “You certainly will not die! For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened [that is, you will have greater awareness], and you will be like God, knowing [the difference between] good and evil.” — V2: Everybody is somebody, even a nobody.

This is where mankind might’ve possibly tried to ignore what the serpent was saying which opposed what God had instructed. — V1: Yeah! I think you’re confused.

— V2: I am confused? You don’t even know who you are. Question: Does it still shock you what another’s persistence without putting your foot down can do? You might eventually cave in if you’re not firm.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise and insightful, — V1: Oh. And I suppose you do.

— V2: Follow me. I will show you! she took some of its fruit and ate it; and she also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of the two of them were opened [that is, their awareness increased], and they knew that they were naked; and they fastened fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.”

We then see Beyoncé crouchingly positioned on one of the tree’s branches. Her eyes aren’t covered. Her barely clothed body however is covered in body paint. She lifts up her head and it moves like the head of a snake.

From 0:30 and for 5seconds, Beyoncé is confidently sat on the tree branch — like a serpent whose mission to lead astray or strike a victim has been accomplished — and staring dead into the eye of the camera as her sultry voice projects.

Cut to the next scene where she is positioned in the middle of dancers who strike different statuesque poses on boxes. They are similarly dressed in an interesting fabric. The reason it seems interesting will be disclosed shortly.

At 0:52 we see Beyoncé and her dancers are entangled in formation which could be just that… formation or even choreography. This entangled form interestingly looks like a symbol.

Immediately we see the formation, the choreographed hands of Beyoncé and her dancers start to make a slither-like movement. This is what makes their outfits interesting. The illusion it gives of reptilian skin — to properly depict the hand slithers.

Remember the mention of the formation looking symbolic? If you take a few seconds to compare the screenshot below closely, looks strikingly like baphomet, popularly known as satan’s statue.

The 90seconds interestingly close with features of Shatta Wale sitting on a throne with his left fist pumped upwards looking like baphomet sitting on a throne with his right hand up and index and middle fingers stuck out;

Having laid these out, this where I politely ask you to do the math and riddle yourself…

Why all these uncanny similarities?

Is this just art or homage payment to a culture?

Was it created strategically and placed in the media at a time where the spirit of the anti christ is at work and freely flowing upon the earth, unhinged and unapologetic?

Is it both?

What am I ingesting unknowingly through my ear, eyes, mouth and heart gates?
